New member of the BlueSky team

I’m Chris, the latest recruit to join BlueSky PR. Chris Johnson

Until earlier this year I was PR Manager at Ashridge Business School where over the course of nearly six years I substantially increased media coverage and brand awareness. I worked with faculty and business managers to source strong news lines as well as building a strong rapport with the business education journalists.

So when the opportunity to join BlueSky came along it was an ideal match to utilise my knowledge and experience gained in the business school arena.

Before that I worked in a variety of PR roles in both agency and client-side across a variety of markets including technology, pharmaceutical, forestry, healthcare and public sector.

Even further back I worked on local newspapers in North London, Hertfordshire and the West Country.

Away from work, I have a passion for sport, mostly cricket, rugby and football as well as the garden and very very basic DIY – when I can’t find a good excuse. At cricket I’ve achieved a national lifetime achievement award and in rugby I was in my spare time press officer to Saracens rugby club. I’d like to think that my sporting life has schooled me to work in team environments – just like BlueSky!
