BlueSky PR September 2018 Highlights

With the summer holidays over and the kids back at school, it was certainly a busy month at BlueSky PR. Here are some of September’s many highlights for our clients across the recruitment, HR and talent management arena.

We secured a case study for Remedium Partners on the General Medical Council website which looked at the experiences of a Russian doctor and his family as they relocated to the UK. Comments from the medical recruitment consultancy’s head of acute medicine Nicholas Hitchins and head of care and transition team Sianie Morris on the success of the Tier 2 visa cap lift for doctors appeared in Recruitment International and People Management, whilst the firm also urged the government to scrap the cap in its entirety after Brexit in the British Medical Journal.

6CATS International CEO Michelle Reilly provided comment for a Raconteur feature which looked at the strategies that financial services firms can use to recruit top offshore talent. Whilst chairman Graham Palfery-Smith outlined the risks that the Criminal Finances Act 2017 poses recruitment firms for a Recruiter article. The Global Recruiter also covered the announcement that the international contractor management solutions supplier had been shortlisted for the coveted customer service award at The Rewards 2018.

News that the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) has launched RIDI 100 – a directory of recruitment service providers which are committed to the inclusion of disabled jobseekers was covered by industry titles such as Employer News and Recruitment Grapevine.

The reaction of Bajinder Kuller, managing director of online supply teacher portal The Supply Register, to Labour’s proposal for a new Substitute Teacher Register appeared in several education and recruitment titles including Schools Improvement and Recruitment International.
