BlueSky PR November 2018 Highlights

We have certainly had a busy November, achieving over 160 pieces of quality coverage for our clients across the recruitment and talent management arena. Here are some of the month’s highlights.

As the National Health Service enters its challenging winter period, Remedium Partners, specialists in placing permanent and fixed-term doctors into the NHS, urged hospitals to implement five key strategies to make sure they’re fully prepared for the increase in patient numbers. This was picked up by a variety of publications including Global Health & Pharma and Employer News.

It was a busy month for global recruitment and project man-power specialist Samuel Knight International. Managing director Rob Enright discussed how the rail industry’s dearth of talent is affecting infrastructure and what must be done to reverse it in an opinion piece for Rail Professional. Whilst market analysis which looked at the oil and gas industry’s skills shortage was covered by titles including Recruitment Buzz and Recruitment International. The firm’s success at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, where they were awarded ‘Team of the Year’, was featured in a number of publications including the Global Recruiter and Entrepreneur News.

Data from Engage Technology Partners which revealed that facilities management firms are turning to financial incentives to attract top contract talent as EU citizens leave the UK, was covered by industry publications FM Industry and FM World. In light of the most recent news concerning Crossrail’s ongoing delays, director Alex Fraser questioned whether the costs of infrastructure projects should be spiralling out of control in this digital age in an opinion piece for Construction News.

Sopra Steria Recruitment’s quality assurance manager Sara Wright discussed the issues HR professionals must consider if they are to forge a culture of disability inclusion within the workplace in a guest blog for HR Zone. Whilst the agency’s success at the 2018 APSCo Awards for Excellence, where they won ‘RPO/MSP of the Year’, was covered by titles such as Recruitment Buzz and Recruitment International.
