BlueSky PR: Business Education Highlights March 2018

March was another busy month for the BlueSky Education team, as always, we delivered top tier coverage for our clients, from the Financial Times to the Evening Standard.

In fact, our client, UCL School of Management, quite literally made headlines with an article published by the Evening Standard entitled ‘UCL study finds voters impacted by fake news prior to 2016’. This covered Assistant Professor Anil Doshi’s study on the increased production of fake news prior to the election and its impact on the public’s news viewing habits. The same research was also covered by Yahoo News and MSN.

Again, we secured multiple appearances for our clients in The Financial Times this month. Our client Durham University Business School was featured in two articles. In one article entitled ‘MBA Recruits under Pressure to Justify Their Pay’, Tara Case, an MBA graduate, attributed her successful career and CEO title to her time at Durham University Business School.

In another article called ‘Why a former MP went back to school for an MBA’ ex-MP Ian Wright explained why he decided to pursue an online MBA, also with Durham University Business School.

University of Edinburgh Business School appeared in the highly regarded Professor Picks section, in which Wendy Loretto, Dean of the University of Edinburgh Business School recommended useful FT articles.

Both our clients LSE Department of Management and King’s Business School were mentioned in an FT article named ‘Business schools rethink MBA strategy as market demand shifts’ which explained why a growing number of institutions are rejecting the traditional two-year MBA courses.

A professor at HEC Paris also wrote a fascinating article for Forbes on ‘How The Gig Economy Is Transforming Accounting... And Society which discussed how companies like Airbnb and Uber are changing accounting forever.

These are just a few examples of the quality coverage that we have secured for our clients in March.
