BlueSky PR: Business Education Coverage Highlights December 2018

December brought with it the end of 2018 and here at BlueSky Education, we saw out the year with a spate of fantastic global coverage. Below, we share a selection of the great media opportunities we secured for our clients last month.

The Guardian released a brilliant podcast on the topic of holograms, featuring discussion of Imperial College Business School’s pioneering new hologram lectures project.

An Ecole Polytechnique professor was interviewed by The Sunday Times for his expert insight into France’s current political instability and the Gilet Jaunes protests.

The Financial Times published an article all about two extraordinary Vlerick Business School alumni. These two ambitious individuals met whilst studying the school’s EMBA together, but changed their post-graduation plans entirely when they realised they were expecting a baby boy together; ‘Our little revolution’.

Vlerick Business School further featured in the Telegraph last month when one of their professors in leadership and coaching was interviewed for her opinion on the role of adaptability in success.

Forbes devoted a full article to the fascinating research of one BI Norwegian Business School professor, whose study outlines the reasons why emerging economies are ‘more open’ to AI for business management.

A King’s Business School professor was profiled by female-centric career magazine, WeAreTheCity, in a wonderfully detailed article outlining her work and research into the Rana Plaza disaster in Bangladesh.

An Ecole Polytechnique student was interviewed for a profile piece by US-based outlet ThriveGlobal. He discusses how he and his team are alleviating the symptoms of tinnitus, a debilitating brain condition, by using a combination of brain training and cutting edge brain scanning technology on patients.

MIP Politecnico di Milano and ESMT Berlin were both featured in a thought-provoking Business Because article exploring the growing popularity of Hackathons at business schools.

Business Because also published comment from Durham University Business School’s programme director regarding the role of business schools in closing the industry’s gender gap.

Authority Magazine, a US-based website, ran an in depth interview with a female high-achieving, straight-talking Imperial Business School professor about her own career and the role of women in the blockchain revolution.

Online international education outlet The PIE News covered Paris Saclay’s newly agreed partnership with Beihang University in Beijing.

Finally, Business Because published a piece predicting the twelve trends which will shape business education in 2019, with no less than five of our clients contributing their valuable insight.
