Whilst August is traditionally known as a quiet period for PR firms, we still managed to secure plenty of high quality press coverage for our clients across the recruitment, HR and talent management sectors. Here are some of the month’s highlights.
Peer-to-peer recruitment recommendation platform AnyGood? published the results of its “Trust in Recruitment” research which surveyed over 1,000 UK jobseekers and employers. This was covered by a number of titles including Recruiting Times, Employer News and Welfare Weekly.
Alexander Mann Solutions’ global head of emerging talent consulting, Sandrine Miller, explained how employers need to balance employee value proposition with local culture to engage graduate talent in a guest article for HRD Connect. Whilst global head of brand and experience Sondra Dyer produced a guest article for the HR Gazette which looked at how bots can benefit the candidate experience.
Global Accounting Network founding director Adrian O’Connor examined how AI and automation will impact the accounting industry in a three-page feature for International Accountant magazine. He also provided his insights for a Chartered Management Institute article which looked at the gender pay gap.
Finally, August was a busy month for Engage Technology Partners. Data from the software service supplier which revealed the impact of the construction sector’s skills shortage on pay rates was covered by publications including Showhouse and Builders Merchants News. Director Drey Francis issued a response to the House of Lords science and technology committee which was picked up by UK Construction Online and Recruitment Buzz, and also produced an opinion piece for Building magazine which questioned construction’s adversity to technology.
